"Thank you for Teamsters' generous donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Your gift not only helped me to become a Gold St. Jude Hero for the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend, but more importantly it helps St. Jude continue cutting-edge treatment and care for children battling cancer and other life­threatening diseases. Your continued support for the children of St. Jude makes such a difference, and this additional donation is so incredibly thoughtful of you.

Though St. Jude is a place filled with hope, one heartbreaking thing connects all the girls and boys in our care -­they are being treated for cancer or another life-threatening disease. These children were all referred to St. Jude. Once here, our doctors placed each one of them on a special treatment plan to give them hope for a second chance at life. Because of generosity like yours, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment. travel, housing or food -- so they can focus on helping their child live.
